Bishop Leibold School Extended Experiences Kindergarten Program

What is the program? Extended Experiences Kindergarten students attend morning Kindergarten, stay for lunch, then an afternoon program of extended experiences in all content areas (math, religion, reading) as well as in the fine arts (music, art, physical education, foreign cultures and Spanish).

When will it be offered? Students in the Extended Day Program attend school from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM.

What is the cost of the program? The program will cost an additional 50% of the ½ day kindergarten tuition. For a parishioner family, the annual tuition for this program is $3377.

Other Important Details…

Field trips, nature experiences and library visits will be offered to extend the Kindergarten curriculum.

The offering of this program for each school year will be based on registrations received in March. However, the Extended Experiences Program has proven to be popular with our parents, so please register early so as not to be disappointed. All students will take part in the April Kindergarten Screening process.

Pre-K, and Before & After School Care: Child Care Expense for 125 Plans

If your family is enrolled in a 125 “Cafeteria” Plan (including Flexible Spending Account, i.e. “Flex-Ben”) with Dependent Care as a qualified expense, it may be possible to include Pre-K tuition, and Before & After School Care expenses in your tax-deferred savings; check with your plan administrator. Please call the principal to initiate the documentation needed for Pre-K costs. To receive documentation for Before & After School Care, please contact that Program's director at the YMCA.
